RES examination results notification
NTUC LearningHub will notify you of your examination results via email within four to six weeks after the examination.
Appeal for review of RES examination results
The Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) has put in place rigorous checks and processes to ensure accurate real estate salesperson (RES) examination results.
If you wish to submit an appeal application for a review of your RES examination results, you must submit the application on NTUC LearningHub’s website within five working days after the release of the examination results and make a payment of $87.20 (inclusive of GST).
Please note that this fee is to cover the cost of reviewing the marking of the answer scripts and for the re-checking of the awarded marks, and is non-refundable. You will not be shown your answer scripts as part of the appeal process.
NTUC LearningHub will inform you in writing of the appeal outcome about 14 working days after the closing date for appeal. More time may be required if the number of appeals is high.
Validity of RES examination results
You will receive an RES examination certificate after passing the RES examination. If you wish to join the real estate agency industry as an RES, you must submit your RES registration application through a licensed estate agent (EA) within two years from passing the RES examination. Your examination results will no longer be valid for RES registration after two years.
For illustration, if you passed the October 2025 RES examination, you must submit your RES registration application via a licensed EA to CEA on or before 31 October 2027. After this date, you will be required to retake the RES course and pass the RES examination again to join the real estate agency industry.
Retaking the RES examination
If you obtain a pass in one paper of the RES examination, you may retake only the failed paper in subsequent sittings, provided your Certificate of RES Course Completion is valid.
If you are unable to pass both papers of the RES examination within the two-year validity from the date of your Certificate of RES Course Completion, you will need to retake the RES course before attempting the RES examination again (both papers).
