CEA is currently updating the CPD guidelines for the new CPD framework. A new set of CPD guidelines will be introduced for use from 1 Oct 2019.

Core CPD Activities
Estate agents and salespersons shall note that only core CPD activities recognised by CEA will be considered in the renewal of licensing/ registration under Regulation 15 Continuing Professional Development Programmes in Estate Agents (Estate Agency Work) Regulations 2010.
The list of recognised core CPD activities will be updated regularly. Activity providers and KEOs should refer to this website from time to time for the latest recognised core CPD activities. CEA is working with Government agencies, local tertiary institutions and the industry to offer suitable training programmes and expand on type of courses under the CPD scheme.
Ongoing studies and completion of certain degree programmes which are directly related and relevant to real estate agency industry can be counted towards CPD requirements. These will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Non-Core CPD Activities
KEOs can assess and decide on the relevance of non-core activities undertaken by their salespersons and ensure that their non-core CPD hours comply with CEA's requirements as set out in the CPD Guidelines.
Estate agents and salespersons may refer to the following WDA electives for non-core CPD programme:
- Employability Skills (ES) WSQ
- Service Excellence WSQ
- Human Resource WSQ
- Leadership People Management WSQ

Please note that this list is not exhaustive and KEOs/ practising directors/salespersons can source on their own for any of the publicly available non-core CPD activities (courses/workshops or in-house training) as long as the content is in line with the identified subjects (N1-N6 of CPD Guidelines).
