Real Estate Agency Industry Representatives Receive the SkillsFuture Fellowship Award for Their Dedication to Lifelong Learning

At the fifth SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards ceremony on 10 December 2021, 18 Singaporeans received the SkillsFuture Fellowships from President Halimah Yacob, the Guest of Honour and Patron of the Awards.

Among the SkillsFuture Fellowships award recipients were Ms Koh Choon Fah, CEA Council member, and Ms Eunice Lim, a real estate salesperson.

An advocate of continuous learning, Ms Koh’s contributions have been invaluable towards the professional development of the real estate agency industry.

She champions the upskilling and professional development of the real estate agency industry by serving on several advisory committees, and plays an active role in contributing her services and sharing her expertise with CEA through her appointments as a CEA Council member, and Deputy Chairperson of the Professional Development Committee. 

Ms Koh also held the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Singapore from July 2019 to June 2021. Among other objectives, the ULI aims to inspire best practices for equitable and sustainable land use through content, education, mentoring and knowledge sharing with the real estate community.

Ms Eunice Lim is a highly skilled Training and Adult Educator, with more than 13 years of experience in her field of work in the adult education industry. A strong believer in continuous education and adult learning, she works with various organisations to develop their skills frameworks and helps design courseware for training the workforce.

She has also nurtured new and aspiring Adult Educators (AE) through the AE Mentorship scheme. In addition, Eunice was a SkillsFuture Mentor and is a Workplace Learning Consultant, actively helping companies on their learning transformation projects. In fact, Ms Lim was instrumental in developing one of the first courses for property agents when CEA was set up in 2010. 

Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, was also in attendance at the ceremony. In congratulating the award recipients, he urged everyone to “draw inspiration from the award recipients who have not just demonstrated skills mastery, but also inspired others in their lifelong learning journey”. 

“With more companies which are supportive of skills training, and Singaporeans who are committed towards lifelong learning, I am confident that we will be able to ride the waves of change. Our adaptability will be our nation's collective advantage, so let us build on this and emerge stronger together,” Mr Chan added.

We congratulate Ms Koh Choon Fah and Ms Eunice Lim for their exemplary efforts in the pursuit of lifelong learning and supporting skills development.
