C) For Salespersons

Individuals who are interested to apply for registration as salespersons are required to fulfill the registration criteria before they submit their registration application to CEA through their licensed estate agent

D) Switching of Estate Agent

When a salesperson decides to join another estate agent, he is required to submit an application to switch estate agent through the estate agent he would be joining.

A salesperson can continue to practise under his existing estate agent pending the processing by CEA of the salesperson’s application to switch estate agent. The salesperson would only need to resign from his existing estate agent after CEA has informed the estate agent, which the salesperson would be joining, the outcome of the salesperson’s application to switch estate agent. Thereafter, the salesperson’s name will appear in the CEA’s Public Register under the new estate agent, after his existing estate agent submits notification of his resignation to CEA.
